Love Drinks takes over Four Pillars distribution

Australian brand Four Pillars Gin has appointed Love Drinks as its exclusive UK importer and distributor, taking over from Liberty Wines.

Liberty Wines has handled Four Pillars Gin in the UK since May 2015.

“We have had a terrific start to our sales life in the UK thanks to David Gleave and his team at Liberty and we want to thank them for all their efforts,” said Four Pillars co-founder Stuart Gregor.

“The time has come for us to work closely with a group like Love Drinks that is single-minded in its focus on great spirits, great relationships and growing high quality craft brands so we are delighted that we’ve been able to come to an agreement with Kirsty [Loveday, CEO and founder of Love Drinks] and her team.”

Four Pillars was established in the Yarra Valley, Victoria, in 2013. The distillery’s portfolio includes Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin, which includes local Australian botanicals including lemon myrtle and Tasmanian pepper berries.

Love Drinks will distribute Rare Dry Gin alongside Four Pillars’ Navy Strength, small quantities of Bloody Shiraz Gin and Spiced Negroni Gin, which will become available in the UK for the first time.

Four Pillars will join Love Drinks’ portfolio from 1 December 2016. The brand made its US debut earlier this year.
