Hpnotiq links with YesJulz to mock fitness ads
By Nicola CarruthersBlue liqueur brand Hpnotiq has partnered with social media star YesJulz to debut a new video which “pokes fun” at fitness advertisements.
The new video stars YesJulz as she offers her tips for staying in shape during the holidays
Launching on the brand’s Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube platforms, the ‘YesJulz Hpnotiq Workout Plan’ stars Julieanna ‘YesJulz’ Goddard as she offers her tips for staying in shape during the holidays.
The new video is part of the second phase of the brand’s #SINCE2001 campaign to help “re-insert Hpnotiq into pop culture”.
The campaign aims to “tap into nostalgia for throwback culture” and bolster the look and feel of Hpnotiq Liqueur with a visual centre from artist Naturel, and content developed in partnership with brand ambassador Cam’ron and artist Yung Jake.
“Hpnotiq is a fun brand that’s not afraid to poke fun at itself,” said YesJulz. “We have that in common. I don’t take myself too seriously and I’m all about good vibes. I wanted to replicate that sentiment with this video.”
Brittany Capito, senior brand manager for Hpnotiq Liqueur, added: “We’re excited to continue building upon the success of #SINCE2001 by partnering with YesJulz to bring the Hpnotiq experience to life through real-world events and this hilarious video. Both Hpnotiq and YesJulz are nightlife mainstays, so this partnership has been seamless.”
In July this year, the Heaven Hill Brands-owned blue liqueur partnered with rapper 2 Chainz to appear in his latest music video Not Invited.
