Sauza 901 Tequila has been named as the official Tequila sponsor of the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in the US.
Sauza 901 Tequila will have a promotional and on-course presence at the sporting event, which features more than 80 celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment competing for a US$600,000 prize and raising funds for various charities.
Justin Timberlake, founder and brand co-owner of Sauza 901 Tequila, will compete in the 26 year-old tournament for the first time this year.
The brand will create a Sauza 901 Tequila Bar on the 14th hole during the competition, which will provide a viewing platform, cash bar and food menu.
The American Century Championship airs Friday 17 July to Sunday 19 July on NBC Sports Group’s family of networks: NBC, NBC Sports Network and Golf Channel.
Last year, Sauza 901 Tequila launched its first digital marketing campaign featuring Justin Timberlake.
Earlier this year Timberlake sported a head-to-toe green lime costume for short film, No Limes Needed.
