Cocktail festival launches in London this weekend

A weekend-long cocktail festival is set to return to London this weekend when a number of the city’s best bars will appear in pop-up form.

Taking place in London’s Bedford Square, Cocktails in the City will feature cocktails from 25 bars and will take place on Saturday 18 July to Sunday 19 July.

The festival, described as an “immerse and interactive experience”, has been curated by events company B&H Group.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample an array of cocktails, many with unusual and rare ingredients, as well as take part in interactive masterclasses where bartenders showcase new summer serves.

Other complimentary masterclasses focus on healthier cocktails, drinks for the morning after the night before and how to drink like a local when travelling through Central and South America.

Street-food pop-ups will also feature at the festival, will new bar Kansas Smitty’s House Band will provide live music.
