Maverick Drinks launches magnum Rumbullion!

UK spirits distributor Maverick Drinks has released a magnum-sized version of its Professor Cornelius Ampleforth’s Rumbullion! spiced rum.

The high-proof Caribbean spiced rum, said to have a flavour of orange, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom, will now be available in a 1.5-litre bottle.

Still packaged in the same Victorian apothecary style bottle as the original expression, using brown paper, string and black wax, the new release is now available at an RRP of £76.95.

Its launch follows that of a magnum-sized version of Professor Cornelius Ampleforth’s Bathtub Gin.

In June last year, Maverick Drinks launched what it claimed was the world’s first super-premium spiced rum – a 15-year-old version of Professor Cornelius Ampleforth’s original Rumbullion!
