Gin Mare opens botanical garden bar in London

Gin Mare is set to open a pop-up bar inspired by its savoury botanical ingredients at London’s The Hoxton hotel.

The Spain-based gin brand will open The Gin Mare Mediterranean Garden at the Shoreditch venue tomorrow (20 May) for two days.

In addition to trying a range of bespoke cocktails, visitors will have the opportunity to take part in masterclasses led by Gin Mare’s global brand ambassador Jorge Balbontin.

Cocktails in the pop-up bar’s menu include the Hixter G&T, a contemporary variation of the classic gin and tonic featuring mango and black pepper; and A Thyme for Mare, a gin and tonic with a sprig of Rosemary; and the Perfect Martini.

In September last year it was revealed that Gin Mare’s owner Global Premium Brands had changed its named to Vantguard to “fit its personality better”.
