The launch coincides with the grand final of The Corralejo Margarita Challenge to take place on 20 May in New Delhi, where finalists from across India will compete to be crowned Corralejo Tequila “Teqnician”.

Compiled by celebrity sommelier, Magandeep Singh, the book is being released to “mark the spirit of the competition” and will include the winning cocktail recipe. The winner will also receive the chance to visit the Corralejo distillery in Mexico.

Sanil Manocha, of Tequila Corralejo, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for connoisseurs of fine spirits to enjoy unique concoctions made from Corralejo 100% Agave Tequila and for the winner to be able to visit and experience the land of Tequila – Mexico.”

As the duty free partner of The Corralejo Margarita Challenge, Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS) is running a social media promotion until 16 may.

“We are happy to be associated with Corralejo which is one of the most popular Tequilas with our customers,” said Duncan Lawley, CEO of Delhi Duty Free. “The mixology challenge organised by the brand every year is a great gesture to develop and maintain consumer interest.

“It also offers an opportunity for mixologists and bartenders to demonstrate the product’s quality and versatility.

“Some of the cocktails created through the challenge over the years have been quite outstanding.”
