Belvédère appoints former Rémy Cointreau executive as CEO

French drinks group Belvédère has appointed former Rémy Cointreau executive, Jean-Noël Reynaud, as its new CEO of the company.

French drinks group Belvédère has appointed Jean-Noël Reynaud as its CEO

Reynaud was formerly CEO of of Central Eastern Europe and CEO of Caribbean and Latin America for 14 years at Rémy Cointreau.

The decision to appoint him as CEO came about following a unanimous vote at the annual general meeting and the annual meeting of shareholders of the company, which took place on 30 September 2013.

In addition, Belvédère announced Krzystof Trylinski will remain as chairman of the board of directors.

Reynaud is set to take up his position as CEO on 5 May, with Trylinksi continuing to continue as the overall manager of Belvédère until this date.

Commenting on the decision, Trylinski said he was “delighted” to see Reynaud join Belvédère and that his experience would bring a “new period of growth to the company”.

Reynaud said he would take up his position with “confidence, commitment and ambition”, and trusted in all members of the company to work together to build a “sustainable and profitable” dynamic together.
