The Glenmorangie Company appoints new CEO
The Glenmorangie Company has named Marc Hoellinger new CEO, taking over from Paul Skipworth.
Marc Hoellinger has now taken over from Paul Skipworth as CEO of The Glenmorangie Company
Marc Hoellinger has now assumed the role of chief executive officer of the LVMH-owned Scotch firm.
Hoellinger previously held roles as international marketing manager of Jas Hennessy and Co, before becoming international marketing and communication director at The Glenmorangie Company and later wines and spirits marketing strategy director for Moët-Hennessy.
“I am delighted to return to Scotland in what are exciting times for the Scotch whisky industry, and the Ardbeg and Glenmorangie brands in particular,” said Hoellinger.
“I feel privileged to be steering a company with over 170 years of tradition that is now a truly global business producing some of the world’s best single malts and employing a passionate, enthusiastic workforce.”
Previous incumbent Skipworth has been appointed senior vice president of strategy for Moët-Hennessy.
Hoellinger added: “We warmly thank Paul for his outstanding contribution to growing The Glenmorangie Company over the past five years and wish him all the best in his new assignment.”
