A memorial service for Michael Cox has been announced
Michael Cox, former Master of the Vintners Company, died last Friday a year after he underwent an operation for a rare form of cancer.
A service will be held for friends and former colleagues to remember him at Southwark Cathedral on Thursday 10 April at 3.30pm.
The family have asked for no flowers, but any desired donations should go to either The Vintners’ Foundation or St. Michael’s Hospice Basingstoke c/o Richard Steel & Partners, Alderman House, 12-14 City Road, Winchester, SO23 8SD or via www.rsponline.co.uk.
Those wishing to attend are asked not to arrive before 3pm, while Michael’s twin brother, David Cox, CEO of The Benevolent charity, and his widow Lynne, will be arranging a venue for guests to meet for a drink after the ceremony.
