Balblair to release three new vintages
Balblair is launching three new vintage single malt Scotch whiskies exclusively into travel retail next month.
Balblair Vintage 1999 will be released for the first time next month in global duty free outlets
Joining the Highland distillery’s portfolio will be the Balblair Vintage 1999, Balblair Vintage 2004, matured in Bourbon barrels and Balblair Vintage 2004, matured in Sherry butts.
The Sherry 2004 vintage will be available exclusively in Asian duty free, while the Bourbon 2004 vintage and 1999 vintage will be available at global duty free outlets.
The 1999 expression will be revealed for the first time at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas in March, along with the Bourbon 2004.
“We are releasing three new vintages in response to overwhelming demand from the travel retail sector for our distinctively packaged Balblair vintages,” said Gillian Gibson, global brand manager for Balblair.
“We value our customers and wanted to provide them with something unique and special. Each Balblair whisky is part of a limited release of a certain vintage, selected by our master distiller and timed to perfection.
“These three releases represent a premium and exclusive choice for travelling malt Scotch whisky lovers and gift-givers.”
All three expressions are non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% abv.
The 1999 vintage has an RRP of £54.99, the Bourbon 2004’s RRP is £44.99 and the Sherry 2004’s RRP is £49.99.
