Jack Daniel’s unveils animated bartender videos

Jack Daniel’s has unveiled a series of animated films depicting the lives of eight US bartenders.

Consumers can vote for their favourite Jack Daniel’s Bartender’s Tale

The American whiskey brand asked bartenders from Brooklyn, New York, to send in their own individual stories, eventually selecting eight finalists and pairing the author bartender with an animator to turn these stories into short films.

For seven days starting yesterday (22 January), members of the public can vote for their favourite video at northside-mediagroup.squarespace.com.

The shortlist includes The Trouble With Pee Wee, by Jesse Sullivan; The Pride of Brother Paul, by Jeremy Yokum; Fairytale of Brooklyn, by Mary Guiteras; Snowbunnies, Pirates, and Painters Oh My!, by Rusty James, The Regular, by Jan Bell; The Puppy Always Knocks Twice, by Diana O’Debra; The Third Man, by Selma Slebiak; and Vince’s Birthday, by Danny Hastings.

The bartender who receives the most votes will win a trip to the Jack Daniel’s distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

Below is one of the submissions – The Trouble With Pee Wee by Jesse Sullivan.
