The Harbour Inn is the latest acquisition by Morrison Bowmore Distillers and joins its portfolio of the Bowmore Visitor Centre and distillery as well as luxury self-catering cottages on the island.

With a choice of seven en-suite bedrooms on offer, the award-winning hotel and restaurant has proved a popular getaway for both residents and visitors of the island.

The old whitewashed building, which features bright blue windowpanes, has recently been renovated with modern bedrooms and a new conservatory that looks out across Lochindaal towards Jura.

Anne Kinnes, visitor centre operations and development manager, said: “In growing the Bowmore business to include The Harbour Inn, this is a very exciting time for us. We are looking forward to the opportunity of welcoming guests to experience our world class service on Islay.”
