‘World’s largest’ bar review app launches

The drinks industry has advanced its foray into modern technology with the launch of an app providing the “world’s largest database of bar and club reviews”.

Drink Advisor contains details of over 3,000 venues across some of the world’s largest cocktail cities

Now available on iOS and Android, Drinks Advisor is a database of over 3,000 venues rated by users in more than 120 cities across the world, including London, Paris, New York, Cape Town and Moscow.

After locating the user, the app will provide detailed listings, maps and directions of nearby hotspots, while being constantly updated with new bars.

Users are also able to upload their own photos to the site, which can be linked to via social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+.

Drinks Advisor also contains drink and cocktail recipes that users can search for by their base spirits.
