Created by mixologist Adrian Biggs, the bar’s signature milkshake cocktail is still undergoing finishing touches, but it has been revealed that the mix contains a range of premium spirits, Belgian chocolates, and features a keepsake Swarovski Nirvana Montana ring as a keepsake.
The bar also serves a range of cocktails with a gastronomic edge, such as the Steel Magnolia, made from blended red velvet cupcake, vodka-soaked cherries, salted pretzels, vanilla ice cream and cream cheese whipped cream.
To date, the most expensive cocktail ever purchased is The Winston, an £8,200 mix containing Cognac Croizet 1858 Cuvee Leonie, Grand Marnier Quintessence, Chartreuse Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolonge, and a dash of Angostura Bitters, created by Melbourne bartender Joel Heffernan.
Before it, the world’s most expensive cocktail was Salvatore’s Legacy, created by famed mixologist Salvatore Calabrese. This mix, composed of 1788 Clos de Griffier Vieux Cognac, 1770 Kummel Liqueur, 1860 Dubb Orange Curacao and two dashes of Angostura Bitters from the 1900, cost £5,500 a glass.
