Johnnie Walker resurrects Bruce Lee for new ad

Bruce Lee has been brought back to life for Johnnie Walker’s latest adLee has been brought back to life in CGI form by ad agency BBH in China for Johnnie Walker’s new advertising campaign ‘Game Changer’.
In the 1.40 minute commercial, the Enter the Dragon actor is transported to a modern Hong Kong balcony through the power of computer generated graphics as he utters profound thoughts on life and success.
“Dragons never die, because dragons draw power from water,” he says. “Water. It’s like instincts. Shapeless… formless… fluid… you cannot grasp hold of it. But let it flow and it has the power to change the world. Be water my friend, because someday you’ll be more than a success. You’ll be a game changer.”
Johnnie Walker is launching the ad in China, but has plans to eventually launch it globally.
Brand owner Diageo has previously worked with male model David Gandy for its ‘Game Changer’ campaign, and has today also announced the recruitment of Ralph Lauren and polo icon Nacho Figueras as its Game Changer for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Bruce Lee died in 1973 at the age of 32, having appeared in numerous, successful martial arts films including Fist of Fury and The Game of Death.
