Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec invests in Ben Buckler Whisky
Entrepreneur and Shark Tank personality Robert Herjavec has invested in The Ben Buckler Whisky Company as part of the company’s current seed-funding round.

TV personality Larry Emdur and Kristy Bloomfield co-founded The Ben Buckler Whisky Company in 2023. Bloomfield is the company’s CEO.
To date, the company has produced, sold and sampled more than 10,000 bottles of whisky.
Bloomfield said: “We are building a global brand and we will be hyper-focused on frequency rather than penetration.
“Everything we do is centred on disciplined growth, exceptional brand building and creating a business that can endure for decades.
“Australia deserves its own globally recognised flagship spirit brand. We believe Ben Buckler can become that aspirational brand, one that celebrates quality over quantity, sociability and connection, while recruiting the next generation of consumers into the category.”

The investment from Herjavec came as part of the company’s SAFE (simple agreement for future equity) investment funding round.
The money will be used to enhance product innovation, for digital investment, to accelerate direct-to-consumer sales, and develop international markets.
At the tail end of last year, The Spirits Business explored how Australian spirits producers could succeed in their native markets and overseas.
Furthermore, data from earlier this year showed the ready-to-drink (RTD) category in Australia generated AU$2.5 billion (US$1.76bn) in Australia’s bars in 2025 after double-digit growth.
