Traackr’s data was compiled by analysing a sample set of 239,800 creators located in the US, Europe, and Asia who have audiences interested in beauty, fashion, and common lifestyle categories over the first weekend of the Coachella festival in Indio, California (9-12 April).

The platform analysed 1,408 posts that tagged Coachella and mentioned or featured food, beverage and spirits brands over the four days.

Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila brand came out on top. It was mentioned or featured by 290 creators in 536 posts, amassing 2.2 million engagements (5% engagement rate) and 32m video views.

818 was given a Brand Vitality Score (VIT) of 7,110. This metric helps brands understand what is actually driving their creator marketing performance by breaking impact into four core levers: creator volume, frequency, content performance, and average audience size.

Over the festival’s first weekend, 818 saw posts relating to the brand jump by 93% compared with the week prior – an increase from 186 posts to 2,154.

Kylie Jenner’s vodka soda brand Sprinter also saw a social media spike over the four-day period of the festival.

The brand saw the highest engagement rate of any tracked brand (6%), with a 30% spike in posts relating to Sprinter compared with the previous week.

Traackr found that 39 creators generated 54 posts about the brand. This resulted in 240,300 engagements and 3.7m video views.

Its VIT score was 2,169, leading to a combined score with 818 Tequila of 9,279 – more than all other tracked brands combined.

Other high-performing spirits brands over the first weekend included Absolut, which saw 27,000 engagements generated from 83 posts, and Aperol, which was included in 45 posts and saw 8,300 engagements over the period.

White Claw (760,800 video views), Patrón (24,700 video views), Cîroc (zero video views), and Tito’s (15,000 video views) also featured in the list of the top 10 alcohol brands included in Coachella-tagged content.

Cîroc’s total brand mentions soared by 376% compared with the week prior. Meanwhile, White Claw’s mentions jumped by 196%.

All mentions data capture total brand activity during the festival window, regardless of Coachella tagging.

Traackr previously analysed the VIT scores of spirits brands to determine which are winning the attention of social media creators.
