Bemakers buys Jolie Imports
European distribution platform Bemakers has acquired Dutch importer and distributor Jolie Imports.

The company said the transaction reinforces its presence in the Netherlands and wider Benelux region and signals the start of its broader European expansion.
“Bemakers is on a mission to make direct beverage distribution simple and scalable, and we continuously look for ways to strengthen our offering – opening new sales channels, simplifying market access, and building services that fuel real growth for the brands we work with,” said Morten Stengaard, Bemakers’ CEO and co-founder. “The acquisition of Jolie paves the way for a quick ramp-up of our offerings in the Netherlands.”
Bemakers operates as one integrated platform across the distribution value chain, managing excise, customs and VAT, warehousing and fulfilment, and providing in-market commercial infrastructure, including CRM and sales capabilities.
Johan Kersten and Ruben Clement, Jolie Imports’ co-founders, added: “We’ve followed Bemakers for years, and the direct distribution model reflects exactly where this industry is heading. It’s about commercial control – giving brands ownership of their pricing, positioning, and how they build their presence in each market and channel. That’s what the future of beverage distribution looks like.”
The newly created Netherlands arm will focus on trade sales, working directly with on- and off-trade customers to build and grow brands.
The company will also launch Trade by Bemakers in the market in April, a beverage wholesale platform that gives customers direct access to a broad portfolio of international brands.
Last-mile delivery in the Netherlands will be handled by Bemakers Delivery.
Last year, Bemakers launched in Spain.
