Zarova Vodka taps into the high-end market
By Miona MadsenLuxury vodka brand Zarova will make its global debut on December 25, featuring three distinct expressions crafted from various origins.

Zarova Vodka is said to reflect the distillation traditions of Cuba and the refined atmosphere of Palm Beach in Florida.
The brand will debut with three expressions: Black Bottle, made from American corn; Blue Bottle, crafted from 100% Blue agave from Jalisco; and White Bottle, distilled from ‘Champagne grapes’ from France.
Each expression goes through eight distillations and advanced filtration.
Zarova vodkas are kosher, gluten-free, sugar-free, additive-free, non-GMO (genetically modified organism), and vegan.
All three expressions are produced in ultra-limited editions and presented in hand-blown bottles.
Zarova will globally debut on 25 December, exclusively at elite private clubs, luxury hotels, and high-end digital platforms.
The brand is also actively negotiating with distributors worldwide to expand into new markets after the initial launch.
Zarova is founded by Misael Plasencia and Neydis Rojas, a Cuban couple who emigrated to the US in 2003 and settled in Palm Beach, where they built a real estate portfolio of over 60 properties.
Plasencia studied engineering in Havana and worked in Cuba’s sugar mills after graduating. Through his time in the sugar mills, he learned the fundamentals of distillation from master rum makers, honing skills in heat control, fermentation cycles, column purity, and the importance of patience, which became the foundation of Zarova.
After moving to the US, Plasencia furthered his expertise by earning a master’s degree in artificial intelligence.
Rojas, on the other hand, cultivated her sense of aesthetics and brand identity through her experiences at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba and fragrance house Suchel Camacho. These experiences shaped her understanding of elegance and the art of sensory storytelling. After moving to the US, Rojas specialised in luxury marketing.
