The vodka will be available at 660 Tesco stores and 232 Waitrose stores throughout the UK from this month (November).

The development means the vodka brand is now in the top four leading grocers and leading convenience retailers nationwide.

Nemiroff said it was worth £6.4 million (US$8.4m) in retail sales value – a 25% increase compared with last year.

Yuriy Sorochynskiy, CEO of Nemiroff, said: “Our partnerships with Tesco and Waitrose mark another big step in Nemiroff’s UK journey. Tesco gives us the national reach to connect with mainstream shoppers, while Waitrose quality, authentic vodka rooted in Ukrainian craftsmanship.

“We’re proud that our dedication to quality has earned the confidence of such strong partners and meets the rowing demand from UK consumers for genuine, premium vodka.”

Nemiroff was established in Ukraine in 1872 and is now exported to more than 80 countries. It made its UK debut in 2018.

Nemiroff De Luxe is the flagship product in the brand’s portfolio. It is made entirely from Ukrainian grain, grown in the Podillya region of the country. The spirit is blended with water from natural springs 100 metres deep.

Before bottling, the vodka undergoes an 11-stage filtration process, including charcoal, silver and platinum. It is then rested for six months to give a vodka with notes of butter, apple, leather, mint and lemon zest.

Earlier this year, Nemiroff was named Supreme Brand Champion in The Brand Champions 2025 report, due to its sales rebound and marketing efforts, particularly after the Russia-Ukraine war.

The vodka brand partnered with multiple Premier League football teams in the UK last year to drive brand awareness.
