Lind & Lime unveils bergamot gin for GTR
Scottish gin producer Lind & Lime has launched its first exclusive global travel retail (GTR) expression, Bergamotto Di Calabria.

Edinburgh-made Lind & Lime London Dry Gin was launched in 2018 and uses seven botanicals, including juniper, lime peel, and pink peppercorn.
Based on the brand’s flagship London dry, the new bergamot-forward gin marks the debut of Lind & Lime’s The Grand Voyage series.
The new series is exclusive to the travel retail channel and is dedicated to exploring the gin’s citrus profiles with varieties sourced worldwide.
The inaugural release, Lind & Lime Bergamotto Di Calabria, is distilled with bergamot peel, bottled at 44% ABV, and is best served in a classic Gin and Tonic, Martini, or in a Spritz.
Ross Latimer, head of gin at Lind & Lime, commented: “Bergamotto di Calabria retains the core DNA of Lind & Lime while turning the citrus up a notch, bringing in lovely bright, floral notes thanks to the added bergamot peel. It’s all about that bigger citrus hit while remaining beautifully balanced, so nothing overpowers our signature Lind & Lime flavour.
“My favourite way to enjoy it is in a clementine and bergamot Spritz or with Mediterranean tonic, garnished with orange and basil.”
Bergamotto Di Calabria is now exclusively available in GTR at Lind & Lime’s current UK airport locations: Edinburgh, Glasgow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Aberdeen, and Prestwick, with plans to expand availability to all UK airports.
In addition to its core London dry gin, the brand also launched a ready-to-drink (RTD) White Strawberry Negroni in 2024.
Last year, Lind & Lime became the ‘first’ UK spirits brand to launch a reusable 100% organic cotton furoshiki gift wrap for its core expression.
