Mintis Gin expands duty free presence
By Miona MadsenItalian gin brand Mintis will expand its distribution this summer to Prague Airport in collaboration with Lagardère Travel Retail.

The gin brand has secured duty free listings with Lagardère in the Czech capital for its Originale, Pomelo Paradiso and Wild Raspberry gins.
Stepan Stanek, co-founder of Mintis Gin, said: “Entering duty free with Lagardère is an exciting step for Mintis. We’re bringing the spirit of Italy to a global audience.
“Today’s travellers are looking for authenticity, standout design, real flavour, and a clean, 100% natural product. Mintis delivers all of that in every bottle.”
Mintis Originale was launched in 2021 and is distilled in a custom-made vacuum still in Piedmont using fresh ingredients and 100% natural botanicals, including local mint from Pancalieri and fruit, as well as wild Italian juniper.
Originale is said to deliver ‘a crisp balance’ of Italian mint and juniper.
The Pomelo Paradiso and Wild Raspberry gins debuted in May 2025 as part of the Italian Summer Edition, with the aim of capturing the flavours of an Italian summer.
Pomelo Paradiso showcases pomelo peel and herbal coriander notes, while Wild Raspberry is a fruit-forward and floral expression crafted from local berries.
All Mintis gins contain no added sugar, colourings or artificial flavours.
Mintis Gin is already present in more than 25 countries across Europe and North America, with travel retail forming a key part of its continued global expansion.
Earlier this month, the gin brand partnered with distributor Henkell Freixenet Baltic to launch its products in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
