Rooftop Tequileria Miradora to open in London
By Lauren BowesMiradora will launch this week (20 June) on the 10th floor of the Assembly Hotel on London’s Charing Cross Road.

The bar and restaurant will have views of the Shard, Nelson’s Column and the London Eye, nestled high above the heart of Theatreland.
Mirador’s creator, Criterion Hospitality, is also behind the Zedwell hotel brand and other rooftop venues, including 1 Leicester Square Rooftop Bar and Restaurant.
Interiors nod to modern Mexican design and feature a statement graffiti mural by multidisciplinary artist and musician Sam Sure. Floor-to-ceiling windows are intended to ‘frame the city like a living postcard’.
Miradora’s menu will feature the ‘full spectrum of Tequila’, from blancos to añejos, as well as other agave spirits like mezcal and flavoured infusions. Tequila brands stocked on launch include Casamigos, Don Julio, Patrón, Volcán de mi Tierra and Clase Azul.
The bar will also offer a lineup of Tequila cocktails, such as the Pineapple Serrano, which features Rooster Rojo Pineapple Tequila, strawberry, lime, agave and fresh pineapple.
George Clooney’s Casamigos Reposado is the star of the Nectarine Dream, along with citrus and stone fruit. Meanwhile, the Mezcal Mist blends Koch Mezcal with Luxardo Amaretto, lime and ginger beer.
For a Mexican riff on an Espresso Martini, Miradora switches the base spirit for Cazcabel Coffee Tequila.
Danny Staples of DASS Hospitality will lead the food offering, with dishes including masa-fried chicken, carne asada and ceviche tostada.
At the weekend, Miradora will offer a bottomless brunch, live DJs and a happy hour. During the week, guests can enjoy Taco Tuesday offers or a pre-theatre menu.
Last week, London welcomed another rooftop bar: La-Yam in Holborn.
