Mintis Gin launches in the UK
Italian gin brand Mintis has furthered its European expansion with a listing in the UK through Amazon.
Mintis Gin launched in 2021 and is now available in nearly 30 countries. This year, it has signed distribution deals in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the US and Denmark.
The 700ml bottles have an RRP of £28.50 (US$35) and can be purchased on Amazon UK.
The brand’s gin is distilled in a custom-made vacuum still in Torino Distillati, which preserves the aromatic taste of local Pancalieri mint and local fruit.
Co-founder Stepan Stanek said: “Our flavoured but 100% natural gins – with no added sugar or colourings and with the unique Italian mint freshness – have been very well received in all the countries where they are distributed.
“We are excited to share our passion for strictly natural gins – which give an unforgettable kick to cocktails – with gin enthusiasts in the UK.”
There are four expressions in Mintis’ portfolio: Originale, Clementina, Amarena and Ribesa.
Mintis made a splash at The Gin Masters 2022 blind-tasting competition when it was awarded two Gold medals for its Amarena and Clementina expressions.
The flavoured spirits sector has been forecast to be valued at US$50.77 billion by 2029.
