Investor buys Deep Eddy Distillery property

The Texas-based property where the Deep Eddy Vodka Distillery is based has been sold for an undisclosed sum.

Deep Eddy Vodka occupies the property as part of a 20-year lease

The property, which is 100% leased, has been purchased by a Silicon Valley investor in a deal brokered by real estate agent Shop Companies.

Austin Business Journal reports that official documents cite Chiala Properties LLC of Morgan Hill, California, as the buyer and Seamless 290 West DE Ltd as the seller.

The publication also reports that Deep Eddy Vodka occupies the 27,000-square-foot property as part of a 20-year lease, which came into effect three years ago.

Deep Eddy Vodka has confirmed to The Spirits Business that it was “not party” to the transaction.

Independent US spirits producer Heaven Hill Brands acquired Deep Eddy Vodka and its Austin-based distillery for an undisclosed sum in September last year.
