The Irishman 22-Year-Old will be exclusively available at The Loop in Dublin and Cork airports.

Distilled in 2001, the whiskey was aged in American oak Bourbon barrels for 21 years before spending 12 months in tawny Port casks from the Douro Valley.

Bottled at its cask strength of 49.43% ABV, The Irishman 22-Year-Old has been priced at RRP €500, duty free price, or €517 duty paid (US$550).

Only 600 bottles will be available this year, with a further 600 scheduled to launch in 2024.

Walsh Whiskey is owned by Amber Beverage Group (ABG), the rapidly growing global spirits company, whose products are found in millions of households and venues across the globe. The company has grown from its initial production business established in the Baltics in 1900 to become a global player in the alcoholic beverages sector, employing more than 2,000 people.

In addition to The Irishman Whiskey, ABG’s core brands are Rooster Rojo Tequila, Kah Tequila, Moskovskaya Vodka, Writers’ Tears Whiskey, and Riga Black Balsam.

Bernard Walsh, managing director of Walsh Whiskey, said: “I am delighted to have been able to source and finish this rare whiskey to my own taste.

“It takes to new ground The Irishman portfolio, which is dedicated to being single malt-led.”
