Last call for Pre-Mixed & RTD Masters entries

There are just 10 days left for pre-mixed and ready-to-drink (RTD) producers to enter SB’s annual blind tasting.

Pre-mixed and RTDs
The competition will seek out the RTD producers making bar-quality cocktails

This year’s Pre-Mixed & RTD Masters will close for entries on 18 September.

The competition will be judged in London next month by an expert panel of judges, comprised of spirits experts, bartenders, buyers and writers.

An ever-expanding category, the 2022 competition will cover canned cocktails, spirit-based RTD products, as well as the burgeoning hard seltzer sector.

From canned G&Ts to bottled signature serves and lower-ABV Spritzes, there are plenty of choices for drinkers looking for a tipple in a convenient format.

The RTD category in the UK is a nine million nine-litre case market, according to Pernod Ricard.

Judges will be looking for products that rival the quality usually found in bars and restaurants, as well as RTDs that are pushing the boundaries of the category.

The results from the competition will be published in the November 2022 issue of The Spirits Business.

To enter, visit The Global Spirits Masters website.

The RTD category is positioning itself as a year-round beverage option, as we discovered in a feature published earlier this year.
