Milestone Beverages HK takes on El Bandarra

Spanish apéritif brand El Bandarra has signed a distribution deal with Milestone Beverages HK in Asia.

El Bandarra was established by brothers Alex and Albert Virgili, who founded the beverage at their third-generation, family-owned winery in Spain, just outside of Barcelona.

El Bandarra comes in four variants: Rojo, Blanco and Rosé vermouths, and Al Fresco Apéritif.

Joe Milner, managing director of Milestone Beverages, said: “We are delighted to be bringing on board this authentic, high-quality, family-run brand, which fits perfectly into our portfolio of customer-centric wine and spirits brands, sourced from some of the most prominent regions and suppliers across the globe.”

The El Bandarra range is bottled at 15% ABV. Its packaging is a nod to Spain’s past, when bartenders used to paint the names of their tapas on the windows of their venues, using coloured letters to attract consumers walking by.
