Moskovskaya Vodka unveils first brand extension

Moskovskaya Silver is the first ever brand extension from Moskovskaya VodkaThe expression is an “enhanced” version of Moskovskaya’s traditional recipe, created using new purification technology with charcoal and silver before being filtered four times.
Moskovskaya said this new process provides “smoothness” and a “pristine taste”.
“Moskovskaya Vodka is a well-recognised international brand with a global footprint,” said Seymour Ferreira, CEO of Amber Beverage Group, parent company of Latvijas Balzams. “We believe that Moskovskaya Silver edition will enhance Moskovskaya market presence and attract a broader range of consumers to this unique brand.”
The new variant features premium packaging and a new label design and closure, retaining the same bottle shape as the original expression.
Available in 50cl and 70cl formats, distribution of Moskovskaya Silver will initially begin in Baltic countries this month and will roll out to other markets later this year. It will be priced on par with, or slightly higher than, the original expression.
Moskovskaya is produced by Latvijas Balzams, part of Amber Beverage Group, at the firm’s facility in Riga, Latvia, which was first established in 1900.
