Humphrey Bogart spirits range to launch in New York
New York Wine and Spirits has announced it will begin distributing Bogart Spirits across New York, the birthplace of actor Humphrey Bogart.
The Bogart Spirits range includes a gin, vodka, white rum and whiskeyThe distribution company, a division of Manhattan Beer Distributors, will launch the full range of Bogart Spirits, including its white rum, gin, vodka and whiskey, in all five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, and several surrounding counties.
Jonathan Kendrick, chairman of brand owner Rok Stars, said: “This new agreement to distribute the full range of Bogart Spirits into one of the most densely populated areas in the United States marks a significant promotion of our spirits business.
“Our partners at Manhattan Beer Distributors recognise the iconic appeal of the Humphrey Bogart persona which is reflected in our premium handcrafted spirits. This partnership with Manhattan Beer Distributors represents the opportunity to have Bogart Spirits available in thousands of retails stores where New Yorkers are shopping and eating every day.”
Bogart Spirits was founded following a partnership between the Humphrey Bogart Estate and Rok Drinks, a UK-based drinks company.
The range of spirits, distilled in California, was inspired by New York-born actor, Humphrey Bogart, who is known for his roles in Casablanca and The Maltese Falcon.
