Seed Library NYC unveils second menu

The New York iteration of Seed Library, which opened in November 2025, will launch its second menu next week.

The new menu includes cocktails like the Sunflower Fizz

The Seed Library concept originally launched in London. The New York location was owner Ryan Chetiyawardana’s first permanent venue in the Big Apple when it opened in November.

Following the release of its debut menu, the second edition is said to reflect the bar and team’s relationship with New York, having now been in the city for more than six months.

Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan, explained: “For this menu, the team have reflected on the ideas and conversations that have flowed through the bar over the past six months.

“We have gathered together observations about ingredients and drinks that have felt reflective of our philosophy at Seed Library – and things that are exciting us most just now.

“We cannot wait to share these new creations with the community here in New York who have been so welcoming and have inspired us so much through their own storytelling and collaboration.”

The second menu brings 10 new signature cocktails, which in Seed Library’s trademark style, take inspiration from overlooked or underutilised ingredients.

Seasonal serves for the summer include a Pink Pear Spritz, which combines Lalo Blanco Tequila, green tea, grapefruit wine and prickly pear. The cocktail is also available in non-alcoholic form with Pathfinder non-alcoholic botanical elixir.

Described as zesty and herbal, the Musa Daiquiri is made with mead, chartreuse and lime. Meanwhile, the Sunflower Fizz brings together Fords Gin, sunflower seed orgeat, marigold, lemon and soda.

Other new cocktails include an Omakase Frappe, which combines enzyme’d sushi rice, jasmine tea, red amaranth and black cardamom to complement Hibiki Harmony whisky, and a Celery Daisy, inspired by the original Seed Library’s London home, made with Hendrick’s Gin, extracted celery, peppercorn fino and citrus.

For Martini fans, there is also the Grape + Honey Wine, described as a clean Martini variation, made with Suyo pisco, fermented honeysuckle and Cocchi Americano.

The new cocktails will also be accompanied by eight Lyan Classics, including the Coriander Seed Gimlet and BC3 Negroni.

The menu will be available from 8 June.

Seed Library New York is located on the lower-ground floor of Hotel Park Ave NYC.

The cocktail bar ranked 66th on the 50 Best Bars in North America 2026, marking its debut on the list less than six months after opening.
