Ole Smoky releases RTDs
Tennessee-based Ole Smoky has revisited the ready-to-drink (RTD) market with a line of sparkling moonshine lemonades.
The moonshine producer entered the RTD space in 2020 with a range of canned cocktails bottled at 9% ABV.
Its new line sits at just 4.5% ABV, has no added sugar and just 100 calories.
The sparkling range features four flavours: Blackberry Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Watermelon Lemonade and Lightnin’ Lemonade.
“Our fans are always looking for new, convenient ways to enjoy Ole Smoky, especially during the warmer months,” said Tara Wiese, senior director of brand marketing. “Ole Smoky Sparkling Moonshine Lemonades were made for today’s drinking occasions, offering a refreshing sparkling take on our beloved moonshine – in a low‑calorie, RTD format that goes wherever summer takes you.”
The range will be available in an eight-pack, featuring two of each flavour. Single-serve cans of Blackberry Lemonade will also be available from liquor stores.
The RRP of the range is yet to be announced.
Ole Smoky recently opened the doors to its new South Carolina distillery and brewery experience in Myrtle Beach.
