Inigo debuts dual-serve cocktail format

British bartender Jon Travers-Smith has created a cocktail brand called Inigo, which can be served as a non-alcoholic option or mixed with spirits.

Inigo debuts with three varieties: Earl Grey Martini, which combines flavours of bergamot, lemon, juniper, and tea; Korean Paloma, featuring notes of grapefruit, lime, gochujang, lapsang souchong smoke, and miso umami; and Bitter Riot, offering a bitter-forward tropical taste with fresh ginger and aromatic spices.

All three are designed to be served as standalone non-alcoholic drinks.

However, the brand also encourages consumers to consider adding a premium spirit, as part of what it calls the ‘Stick + Twist’ belief. Crafted with a specific spirit in mind, the Earl Grey Martini pairs well with gin, the Korean Paloma with Tequila, and the Bitter Riot with grain vodka.

All three varieties are vegan, made with 100% natural ingredients and are free from preservatives, artificial sweeteners, and added colour.

Travers-Smith said: “People’s relationship with alcohol has become more nuanced, but the occasion itself has not become any less important.

“We wanted to create a drink with the same depth, structure and sense of intent you would expect from a great cocktail, whether or not a spirit is added. With Stick + Twist, the non-alcoholic serve is not a compromise. It is the foundation. The twist is simply the drinker’s choice.”

Inigo is now available on the brand’s website with an RRP of £26 (US$35) for a 500ml bottle.
