Tipple to help Botivo scale across Europe

Digital distribution platform Tipple will manage alcohol-free brand Botivo’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) operations across Europe.

The partnership will enable Botivo to scale across multiple territories while maintaining control over fulfilment, compliance and customer experience.

“Consumers today aren’t choosing between alcohol and no alcohol, they’re moderating,” said Tipple founder Eoin Bara.

“This opens up space for brands that deliver a premium drinking experience regardless of ABV.”

According to Tipple, the partnership will allow Botivo to access multiple European markets without fragmented distributor networks.

Bara added: “Moderation isn’t a niche, it’s becoming the default. This isn’t about replacing alcohol. It’s about expanding the category and giving consumers more choice in how they drink.

“Brands need the infrastructure to meet consumers wherever they are on that spectrum.”

Au Vodka recently appointed Tipple to manage its European D2C operations and build its business-to-business (B2B) network in European markets.

Tipple was established in 2021 and services nine international markets: Ireland, the UK, the US, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium and Denmark.

In September 2025, Tipple raised €4 million (US$4.7m) in seed funding to support its mission to make the spirits industry more tech-efficient.

In 2024, Botivo co-founder Imme Ermgassen spoke to The Spirits Business about how the brand isn’t about moderation.

The English brand, based in Hertfordshire, was founded in 2021.

Tipple founder Bara recently appeared on The Spirits Business Podcast to discuss why he believes spirits distribution needs a shake-up.
