The partnership with Prometheus Beverage is said to represent a significant milestone in Highclere Castle Gin’s growth strategy in the US.

The collaboration leverages Prometheus’ comprehensive approach to brand execution, market access, operational infrastructure, and strategic advisory services within the beverage alcohol industry. Prometheus will support the brand by drawing on its deep industry expertise and a strong distribution and talent network.

Laurent Schun, CEO of Highclere Castle Gin, said: “We’ve built Highclere Castle Gin into the most awarded super-premium gin in the world, and now it’s time to match that reputation with the right commercial engine in the US.

“Prometheus Beverage brings the expertise, the network, and the discipline to do exactly that. I’m confident this partnership will drive the next phase of growth for Highclere Castle Gin in America.”

Founded in 2019 by American spirits entrepreneur Adam von Gootkin in collaboration with the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, the gin is made using botanicals cultivated on the historic Highclere Castle estate in England. The estate is also known as the setting for the Downton Abbey TV and film franchise.

Earlier this year, the brand launched its first product extension, Peach Rose gin.

Dave Lane, founder, managing partner and CEO of Prometheus Beverage, commented on the partnership: “Highclere Castle Gin has built a truly impressive brand, grounded in exceptional product quality, authentic heritage, and a strong consumer connection. Prometheus’ role is to help translate that momentum into sustained US market growth through strategy, disciplined execution, and scalable infrastructure.

“We are excited to work alongside the Highclere team and believe this partnership creates a strong foundation for long-term success. The brands that win today are the ones that pair distinctive quality with aligned execution, and we therefore see a significant opportunity ahead for Highclere Castle Gin.”
