Tanglin creates gin for Great Eastern
By Miona MadsenSingapore’s Tanglin Gin Distillery has created a custom gin for insurance company Great Eastern to mark its partnership with OCBC Group.

The distillery created the custom gin to commemorate a partnership between Great Eastern and the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC), specifically honouring the induction of a new class of Great Eastern Private Partners.
The insurance company said Tanglin Gin is the ideal choice to create the spirit that reflects the prestige of high-net-worth advisory. The commemorative edition gin is said to honour individuals who ‘redefine excellence’.
The official launch of Great Eastern x Tanglin Gin featured a signature cocktail created specifically for the event, called the Great Eastern Punch.
Every guest received a bottle of the custom gin to recognise their milestone.
Additionally, the Singapore Original Experience showcased local craftsmanship, including that of Tanglin Gin and local brand Mr Bucket Chocolaterie.
Tanglin Distillery was established in 2018 to address a gap in Singapore’s cocktail scene and to explore the country’s diverse flavours in spirits.
Its private label services offer a solution for those who need ‘precision, reliability, and local craft prestige.’
Last month, the brand partnered with Lotte Duty Free at Changi Airport to launch the limited edition Golden Blossom Gin.
Tanglin has also extended its gin residency at the five-star Westin Singapore hotel in its home country.
