Allora to open brand home in Procida
By Lauren BowesIl Limoneto will be the first brand home of Allora Aperitivo al Limone and is expected to launch in Procida, Italy, in July.

The aperitivo brand, which was named Best New Product at The Spirits Business Awards 2024 and Speciality Brand of the Year in 2025, is made with lemons sourced from Procida, which are called Isola dei limoni. The variety has a thicker white pulp than other lemons, which Allora uses along with the fruit’s bitter leaves.
Procida is a small island off the coast of Naples that neighbours Capri and Ischia. As well as being a hotspot for citrus fruits, the area was a filming location for The Talented Mr Ripley and Il Postino.
Il Limoneto, which translates to ‘the lemon grove’, will feature a boutique bar and lemon experience that will open by appointment only during the summer months.
Allora’s lemon grower and Procida-based partner David Lubrano will run the space.
The bar will offer a curated cocktail list, including the brand’s signature serve, the Allora Lemon Spritz. Other options will include lemon Palomas, Negronis, Martinis and Margaritas.
Jamie Mancini, Allora co-founder and creative director, said: “There is an intangible magic to Procida. It’s a beautiful time capsule that transports you to the mid-century golden era of Italian culture.
“We attempt to capture as much as we can in our brand world, which utilises typefaces found on street signage, colours pulled from the walls of its homes and, of course, our liquid embraces the island’s lemons and local craft. Il Limoneto is a homage to all the wonder the island has to offer.”
Phill Welch of Phill Creates Studio will design and build Il Limoneto, with his previous clients including Liberty, Gorillaz, Glastonbury and The Missing Thread at Somerset House.
He will work with local suppliers and crew as much as possible, with the bar being constructed using materials from Procida and the surrounding area including wood, fishing nets and decorative art and items.
Welch added: “We came to visit the island, and I was instantly inspired by everything around us. The island’s architecture, sea-faring industry and cultural significance will be reflected in the bar. It’s about creating a lemon haven on the island rather than something that contrasts the natural surroundings.”
