Rémy Cointreau forms Prestige Division
Ludovic du Plessis will lead Rémy Cointreau’s newly formed Prestige Division, which includes Louis XIII Cognac.

The French firm announced the newly formed division and the appointment of Plessis today (11 March).
As CEO, Plessis will oversee the global development and brand awareness of the group’s ‘most exceptional luxury’ maisons: Louis XIII Cognac, Champagne Telmont, and Maison Psyché perfume house.
Additionally, Plessis will join the Rémy Cointreau executive committee.
Plessis joined the company in 2014 as executive director of Louis XIII. For six years, he increased awareness of the Cognac house and developed the Private Client Directors network.
Since 2020, Plessis has served as the president of Champagne Telmont, where he spearheaded the ‘In the Name of Mother Nature’ project.
Franck Marilly, CEO of Rémy Cointreau Group, commented: “This division has to be at the forefront of luxury trends and aims to drive new business opportunities, with boldness and the highest standards of luxury knowledge.
“I am convinced the experience and vision of Ludovic, nourished by more than 25 years of expertise in the luxury wines and spirits industry, will be key assets to achieve this ambition.”
The formation of the new division follows the appointment of Christophe de Pous as Rémy Cointreau’s CEO for the US and Canada last month.
In January, Rémy Cointreau reported a 1.9% decline in sales for the first nine months of the 2025-26 financial year.
Earlier this month, the group’s flagship Cognac brand, Rémy Martin, unveiled Rémy V, a modern white spirit distilled from 100% French grapes.
