Swedish hotel implements Cocktail Club Pro

Karlskrona Stadshotell in southern Sweden has adopted Cocktail Club’s all-in-one hospitality and recipe management platform to ensure consistent cocktail service.

Created by industry experts for the hospitality sector, Cocktail Club Pro is a SaaS-backed (Software as a service) solution designed for hotels.

At Karlskrona Stadshotell, the platform is used to address a common challenge for many hotel bars: ensuring consistent cocktail service. It is essential for guests to receive the same cocktail each time they visit.

However, factors such as rotating shifts, seasonal staff, and varying levels of experience behind the bar can lead to inconsistencies in drink preparation. As a result, the same cocktail ordered on different evenings may taste noticeably different.

According to Karlskrona Stadshotell, inconsistency in service undermines guest trust, affects brand perception, and reduces repeat orders. For guests, the new approach has made premium cocktails feel worthwhile, and staff recommendations seem credible.

By using Cocktail Club’s recipe software, the hotel has been able to ensure that every cocktail recipe is stored in a single shared digital reference point accessible to all bartenders on every shift.

Each recipe includes precise measurements, build order, glassware, garnish, and ice specifications, along with visual and descriptive cues for correct execution.

As Linus Sigsäter, the general manager at Karlskrona Stadshotell, stated: “Consistency in the bar isn’t about limiting creativity – it’s about enhancing the guest experience.”

Benefits of the app include consistent cocktail quality across the venue, allowing new staff to gain confidence faster without slowing down service. Senior bartenders have also spent less time correcting and re-explaining.

According to Cocktail Club, venues that utilise structured digital recipes typically experience a 10-20% reduction in service corrections, onboarding for bar staff that is up to 30% faster, and a 10-15% increase in cocktail upselling, driven by enhanced staff confidence.

Additionally, venues that implement structured recipe systems are expected to see a 10–25% increase in guest satisfaction metrics, particularly in repeat orders and per-guest bar revenue.

Another venue that has recently adopted Cocktail Club Pro is The Simultáneo cocktail bar at Hotel Plaza in Barcelona, where the platform has resulted in a reduction of up to 20% in staff workload.
