Mirror Hospitality Expo returns for fourth edition
By Lauren BowesFrom 4-5 May, Bratislava’s Mirror Bar will host a hospitality festival at its home in the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel.

Mirror’s bar ambassador Stanislav Harciník and bar manager Peter Marcina, as well as Adrián Chrzan of education platform The Cocktail Balance, created the event programme, which focuses on four key pillars: Connect, Educate, Taste, and Discover.
Speakers from more than 30 global bars will attend the expo, including Hampus Thunholm of Röda Huset, Stockholm; Hyacinthe Lescoët of The Cambridge Public House in Paris; Minakshi Singh of Sidecar in Delhi; and Agung and Laura Prabowo of Penicillin in Hong Kong.
As well as the educational programming, which spans masterclasses, seminars, and discussions, Bratislava will become a ‘cocktail city’ on 3-7 May, hosting guest shifts from world-renowned bartenders.
The Market section of the expo will also return, showcasing local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic brands.
New to this year’s event is a dedicated educational room hosted by The Cocktail Balance, which will offer a curated schedule of ‘intensive’ masterclasses with guidance from ‘some of the industry’s best minds’.
The event has also partnered with gastronomic guide Gault&Millau to present the best chefs, steaks, and street food from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.
Mirror Hospitality Expo will also be the setting of the official launch of the Bartender’s Choice Awards (BCA) for the Central and Eastern European region.
For the first time, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, and Croatia will be eligible for these awards.
The launch will take place during Mirror Hospitality Expo’s closing ceremony on 6 May.
