The crowdfund will run for six to eight weeks through mid-March and aims to raise up to US$5 million.

The capital will go directly towards supporting the American whiskey’s brand’s next growth phase, which will include scaling brand awareness, accelerating national marketing efforts and strengthening on- and off-premise distribution.

The brand makes American single malt whiskey and noted “the opportunity now is to scale awareness and distribution while the category remains early and fragmented”.

Bear Fight’s investor and creative partner, actor Gabriel Macht, and founder Anthony Moniello will be supporting the crowdfund. Macht has fronted a promo titled ‘Want A Seat At Our Table’ where he gives an overview of the campaign.

Macht said: “Bringing on investors isn’t something we take lightly. We’re raising to grow the business, but we were intentional about how we do it.

“Instead of keeping ownership behind closed doors, we want to invite in the people who believe in what we’re building and make something meaningful together.”

Actor Macht – perhaps best known for playing attorney Harvey Specter in the TV show Suitsjoined the brand in late 2024 as a creative partner and stakeholder, and has since used his star power in adverts for the brand to help it grow worldwide.

Bear Fight is made by third-party spirits producer Next Century Spirits and launched in 2022. Its early investors included Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane.

Bear Fight saw its revenue grow by 45% in 2024-25, while sales volume growth was up by 70%. It is also now available in more than 300 national placements in the US, including Total Wine and Bevmo.

Investors must be US residents and aged over 18 to participate in the crowdfund. The minimum investment is US$200.

Early access windows and limited time bonus shares are available now, with further details on the brand’s website.
