Miami Rum Congress reveals 2026 agenda
By Miona MadsenThe Rum Lab has announced the schedule for this year’s Miami Rum Congress, hosted at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Florida from 6 to 8 February.

The seventh annual educational gathering for rum professionals and enthusiasts in the US aims to strengthen Miami’s reputation as the rum capital of the Western Hemisphere.
Over three days, the event will bring together industry leaders, master distillers, brand ambassadors, cocktail professionals, and passionate consumers for engaging programming.
This year’s event will showcase more than 40 premium rum brands and nearly 200 unique expressions available for tasting – either neat or in a Twisted Daiquiri format.
The expanded lineup of seminars is designed to inform, inspire, and spark meaningful conversations within the global rum community.
On the first day, the schedule includes seminars on ‘Rhum Liqueurs: From Tradition to Modernity,’ ‘Independent Bottlers: Behind the Scenes,’ and ‘Reexamining the Golden Era of Rums in the Mai Tai, Mai Kai, and Beyond’.
The day will conclude with The Ultimate Awards, which celebrate excellence and innovation in the global rum industry.
Held on 7 February, Congreso de Ron and experiences is dedicated to Spanish-language sessions. The second day also features grand tasting sessions in English, aimed at rum experts, novices, and the trade.
In the evening, guests are treated to cocktails at DaiquiriMania. The celebration continues on 8 February, with a bartender chillout event.
The full 2026 agenda and tickets are now available on the event’s official website at www.miamirumcongress.com.
The Rum Lab has announced six events for 2026, including in Puerto Rico, New York and, for the first time, in Spain.
The event organiser has also partnered with Panama Rum Fest for the first time, with the event taking place in August.
