Unlike anything before, Vivid Watermelon made its debut as a limited edition, enabling Thomas Henry to gather invaluable insights from its worldwide network of bartenders. Feedback poured in, ideas were shared, and the product evolved – because for the brand, collaboration is at the heart of innovation.
To perfect Vivid Watermelon, three experts from the brand’s network joined forces at the Thomas Henry headquarters in Berlin: Chockie Tom, indigenous drinks educator and storyteller from London, UK; Valentin Norberg from cocktail bar Botanical by Alfonse, and drinks innovation manager at Thomas Henry, based in Namur, Belgium; and Charlie Guilliams, of Botanical by Alfonse, and in charge of creative content at Thomas Henry (Namur, Belgium). Together, the trio worked in the brand’s own bar to refine the recipe, balancing juicy watermelon with subtle hints of pomegranate and citrus, ensuring it delivers a perfectly rounded taste.
“Vivid Watermelon represents more than just a flavour,” says Marco Frizzarin, senior international brand manager at Thomas Henry.
“It’s the culmination of global expertise, local insights, and hands-on testing. Our goal was to make a mixer that inspires creativity behind the bar, without overcomplicating a drink.”
Crafted with 9% real fruit juice and all-natural ingredients, Vivid Watermelon is as versatile as it is vibrant. Whether poured over ice, paired with vodka in a crisp Highball, mixed into a fruity Melon Spritz with Prosecco, or combined into a low-ABV Italian Melon cocktail, such as one with Campari, it elevates every serve. Even non-alcoholic cocktails, like the Melon Breeze, which combines vivid watermelon with fresh lime juice, highlight the mixer’s adaptability for modern, daytime drinking experiences.
