Louis XIII unveils Year of the Horse coffret
By Miona MadsenRémy Cointreau’s luxury Cognac brand Louis XIII has shared a first look at its limited edition 2026 Lunar New Year decanter set.

For the 2026 edition, Louis XIII continues its collaboration with traditional papercut master Liu Lihong, marking the fourth year of the artistic partnership.
Celebrating the Year of the Horse, the limited edition coffret features the 2026 zodiac animal, created using traditional Chinese stamping techniques, alongside Hippeastrum flowers.
The elements are said to symbolise blessings of good fortune, prosperity, and joy.
With a suggested retail price of US$4,600, the decanter is available through the brand’s network of private client directors, also known as members of the Louis XIII Society.
Louis XIII is crafted from some of the finest eaux-de-vie, aged for more than a century in traditional Limousin tierçons French oak casks at the Grande Champagne region of Cognac.
Earlier this month, Rémy Martin Cognac partnered with Chinese artist Xue Song to mark the arrival of the Lunar New Year.
The brand’s parent firm Rémy Cointreau lowered its 2025-26 sales forecast following a double-digit drop for its Cognac division in the second quarter of the year.
