Grey Goose creates Martini inspired by tartare sauce
By Georgie CollinsBacardi-owned Grey Goose Vodka will open a late-night dining and Martini pop-up experience inspired by the British chippy this December, in a bid to bring a new kind of ‘nocturnal luxury’ to London.

The Grey Goose Chip Shop will bring together ‘perfectly chilled’ Martini cocktails and ‘indulgent’ French fries for two nights on 4-5 December.
The experience will reimagine the classic British chip shop through an ‘elevated’ French lens, and will serve as a space to ‘linger, savour, and extend the evening in style’.
Lexa Ulijaszek, UK ambassador for Grey Goose, commented: “The Martini cocktail isn’t just having a moment – it is the moment. Its popularity continues to grow, with Grey Goose inspiring new ways to enjoy this classic cocktail.
“The Grey Goose Chip Shop celebrates the timelessness of the Martini cocktail, and the joy and innovation of London nightlife by pairing Grey Goose Martini cocktails and the beloved British chippy for a chic, unexpected late-night experience that invites guests to linger and savour the evening.”

Guests can expect a menu of Grey Goose Martinis that range from timeless classics such as the Goose Gibson, which boasts a balsamic-infused onion garnish, to playful twists inspired by classic chip shop experiences, such as the Tartar-tini, which is described as a refined, culinary serve that captures the essence of the classic chip shop condiment, made with tart lemon, fresh dill, and capers, finished with a salty samphire garnish.
Guests can choose between a full-sized Grey Goose Martini served with French fries for £15, or the ‘Tiny Tini Flight’ – three miniature cocktails served with one portion of frites, also £15.
Guests ‘in the know’ will also have the chance to discover secret off-menu bites, revealed only to those ‘who know how to ask’.
The Grey Goose Chip Shop will open at 59 Greek Street, London on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 December, from 6pm to midnight.
The pop-up is walk-in only and entry is subject to availability. Guests must be aged 18 or over.
The Martini and fries trend, dubbed the ‘New York Happy Meal’, has been a popular pairing in the on-trade throughout 2025. At the end of 2024, one of the bars at The Shard created its own Happy Hour menu that honoured the pairing.
