Ian Somerhalder joins SB for annual Travel Retail Beach Party
Hundreds of delegates joined The Spirits Business for a sundowner during the annual Travel Retail Beach Party after day one of the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) World Exhibition & Conference.
It has become an annual tradition that after the first day of the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, The Spirits Business welcomes guests for an evening of wine, cocktails and canapés.
This year’s sponsors were: De Kuyper, Casa Malka Tequila, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Le Tribute Gin, Brother’s Bond Bourbon, and wine brand Voga.
Making a special guest appearance at this year’s event was The Vampire Diaries actor and co-founder of Brother’s Bond Bourbon Ian Somerhalder. The whiskey maker is no stranger to trade shows, and joined The Spirits Business at ProWein in March this year for a whiskey tasting at The Spirits Business Hub.
The 2025 edition of the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference was hailed as a record-breaking year. The show welcomed 7,999 visitors – a 7% increase on 2024 – and 482 exhibiting brand owners. TFWA said this was the ‘highest-ever’ attendance.
