Grand Marnier unveils new label design
By Miona MadsenCampari-owned Grand Marnier has introduced a new design for its label, which blends its heritage with a modern visual identity.

The Cognac-based orange liqueur’s new design features a red label with the brand’s coat of arms and copper highlights, while retaining elements that have been staples since 1880.
Grand Marnier previously featured its logo on a copper-coloured background with the text ‘Cognac & Liqueur D’Oranges’. The updated red label now states ‘Made with Cognac + orange liqueur’, making the components more transparent for consumers worldwide.
The design features a foiled neck label and capsule showcasing founder Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle’s signature, along with a refreshed seal and a lined-edge pattern.
While the label has been reimagined, the iconic silhouette, Cordon Rouge ribbon, wax seal, and of course, the liquid remain unchanged.
The new look showcases the brand’s refined visual identity, providing a more cohesive and recognisable presence across its range, while improving visibility both on- and off-premise.
The updated packaging aims to enhance Grand Marnier’s presence in contemporary cocktail culture, featuring a new call to action: ‘Make Your Margarita Grand.’ The slogan celebrates the recent acknowledgement of the Grand Margarita as an official cocktail by the International Bartenders Association (IBA).
Grand Marnier’s updated design is now being introduced in select global markets, with broader availability expected throughout the year.
Last year, the liqueur brand launched The Grand Encounter: Behind the Bar video series to highlight mixology.
Grand Marnier also partnered with rapper 2 Chainz last year with the ‘Grand Encounters’ theme.
