Bear Fight Whiskey launches Orchard & Vine

American whiskey brand Bear Fight has released Orchard & Vine, an autumn-inspired Kentucky straight Bourbon that seeks to savour the season’s best moments.

The Bourbon is the brand’s first release since Gabriel Macht joined the team

Orchard & Vine is described as having a crisp ‘autumn-inspired’ profile thanks to its two barrel finishes: Calvados and Port.

The finishes are said to have given the Bourbon notes of baked apple, warm baking spices and dark berry to go alongside Bear Fight’s signature character of vanilla, rye spice and a full-bodied oak.

Orchard & Vine is recommended served in seasonal cocktails such as an Autumn Old Fashioned or a Harvest Mule, which are said to showcase the expression’s rich and seasonal character.

Anthony Moniello, CEO of Bear Fight Whiskey, said: “With Orchard & Vine, we set out to create a Bourbon that feels distinctly seasonal yet unmistakably Bear Fight.

“The Calvados and Port barrel finishes add layers of crisp fruit and spice that make it exciting for whiskey enthusiasts while still approachable for casual drinkers.”

Bear Fight Orchard & Vine is available for a limited time at select retailers across the US and online for US$44.99.

The expression also marks the first release from the brand since it received the backing of Suits actor Gabriel Macht, who took on an equity stake in Bear Fight in August 2024 and is a creative partner.

Macht said: “This whiskey has a way of encouraging people to slow down, savour the moment, and enjoy the craftsmanship behind every pour. It’s a whiskey that everyone will want to get their hands on this season.”

The Spirits Business caught up with Macht last year to learn of his plans for Bear Fight, which included growing the brand worldwide.

In January, the actor fronted an ad campaign that invited people to share their ‘daily bear fights’.
