Swift’s Bobby Hiddleston to open Stockholm bar

Following his departure from London’s Swift last summer, Bobby Hiddleston has announced his latest venture, Sally’s.

Hiddleston and his partner Mia Johansson were co-founders of Swift, but they left the group in 2024 to relocate to Johansson’s home country of Sweden.

Sally’s will be located in the newly renovated Sheraton Stockholm Hotel.

“It’s really exciting to open in Stockholm and be part of the new, reimagined Sheraton,” said Hiddleston. “The hotel is undergoing a full revamp, and when I was shown the renovations and plans – and just how much energy was being put into it – I saw it as something I can really get behind.

“I have been given almost complete creative freedom and the team have trusted my vision for Sally’s. I am very excited to show it off.”

More than SEK 400 million (US$42.2m) has been invested in the Sheraton’s renovation, which includes fully reimagined hotel rooms, conference and social areas.

Hiddleston has partnered with Swedish bar professional Niklas Forslin, who has more than 15 years’ experience in the country’s cocktail scene. He previously worked at Stockholm’s Tjoget.

Forslin added: “I am really looking forward to working with Bobby and the whole team at Sheraton. I have always looked up to Bobby, so when the opportunity to join him at Sheraton showed up, it was really a no-brainer for me to join.

“We are aiming to build a team of the friendliest, most welcoming people in Stockholm for Sally’s. If that’s you, let us know.”

Sally’s is expected to open towards the end of 2025.
